Love Synchs Short Film

Love Synchs is about a young couple in love, Heeley and Selene, who use a new technology to share all their memories. In order to have the theme of the film extend beyond the narrative and into the presentation, Paul Kamuf created a custom app where the system requirements are: you, a friend and both of your tablets. When you and a friend meet-up with the app downloaded to your tablets, the movie plays across your screens. If you're by yourself you won't be able to watch the film.

The film was shot by acclaimed cinematographer Bradford Young (Pariah, Solo, Arrival). It was written and directed by Paul Kamuf and starred Aja Naomi King (How To Get Away With Murder) and James Allerdyce.

One of the main ideas of the whole thing was to develop the story and technology together. So, not to have a technology and then populate it with "content".
