Music Video and PSA
We worked with IDEKO and Hip Hop Public Health to produce a music video that was also a PSA during lockdown with original music by Raheem Devaughn, Doug E. Fresh and DMC.
Video-ing people in person was unrealistic at the time, given the pandemic, so we had the artist’s film themselves in their studios, homes and outdoors. Each artist shot several takes. The remaining footage was made up of individuals involved with Hip Hop Health including influencers, celebrities and NYC officials. We worked to unfiy the footage which came in in a variety of orientations and sizes.
Original look for Behind The Mask titles (feat. Rob Base)
We took video from over 50 sources and created a coherent and aesthetically unified video. We led the client and agency to quickly develop the visual style and language of the piece. The type and color reflected HHPH’s previous work and logo, and gave the video a unique look. The song and visuals combined to create a great piece of work for a great cause.
